Presentation: SIKA SikaLayer PC3 – 12 m2 acoustic undercoat, an acoustic undercoat designed to stick parquet to heated floors. The application is easy and allows good isolation of shock noise. Advantages: easy to apply. Suitable for heated floors. Excellent acoustic insulation to shock noise. Suitable for solid or machined laminated parquet floors with grooves and tabs in English application, with a thermal resistance of less than 0.08 m2. K/W. Read the instructions carefully before use. Features: Thickness: 3 mm. Consumption: Under layer: same surface as the parquet to be glued. Surface mass medium: 270 + 20 g / m² per pack. Heating should be interrupted 48 hours before applying the smoothing primer or glue. Shred all protruding parts, sand, retract if necessary with a suitable hydraulic binder based coating. Allow the bonding to dry completely and ensure that the glue is adhesive. Carefully dust the supports by suction. Application Place the SikaLayer PC3 underlay on the surface to be covered with parquet. The plates must be cut to the cutter on walls, upholstery or skirting boards, if the skirting boards are already in place and do so without contact or lifting, thus retaining a suitable peripheral set (DTU 51.2). The plates will be placed on the ground with a set of 1 mm along the entire length of the space, so that the recesses are perpendicular in the sense of length of the blades laid in English. Cut the useless part of the last row plate to the cutter without leaving a lift.
